What was in the way

In tattooing the portfolio is the entire pitch, and the portfolio was the weakest part of the site.

The approach

So we made the portfolio the site. Artist work leads, and the consultation request sits directly underneath it.

Built from content, not a template

Every site we make starts from real footage and photography of the actual business — in this case pulled from their own feed — rather than a theme with the logo swapped. That process is here.

And made readable to Google

Video is invisible to a search engine, so we transcribe and describe what is on screen and publish it as real text behind the media. The SEO layer, in plain words.
