What was in the way

A room with a serious cocktail programme and a live-music calendar that changed every week — and a website that could not keep up with either.

The approach

Gold-on-black, built around the room at night. The signature piece is a schedule the venue edits itself through a simple admin page, so the listings are never stale and nobody has to call a developer to move a Tuesday.

In the build: Self-updating event schedule, admin editor, scroll-snap sections, lazy-loaded video.

Built from content, not a template

Every site we make starts from real footage and photography of the actual business — theirs — rather than a theme with the logo swapped. That process is here.

And made readable to Google

Video is invisible to a search engine, so we transcribe and describe what is on screen and publish it as real text behind the media. The SEO layer, in plain words.
